SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED

Das Projekt „SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED“ unterstützt die soziale Inklusion von Menschen mit Migrationsgeschichte und Geflüchteten in der Berufsbildung. Es werden dabei besonders die Herausforderungen, die durch die Corona-Pandemie und digitale Lernformate entstanden sind, in den Blick genommen.

The project “SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED” supports the social inclusion of people with migration background and refugees in vocational training. It focuses on the challenges posed by the Covid pandemic and digital learning formats.

Das Projekt

Aufbauend auf dem Erasmus+ Projekt “SIMPLY INCLUDED – Social inclusion of migrants in vocational education and training” koordiniert KulturLife das Projekt “SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED”.
Die Corona-Pandemie hat die Integration von Menschen mit Migrationsgeschichte und Geflüchteten in den Arbeitsmarkt deutlich erschwert, indem Sprach- und Ausbildungskurse unterbrochen wurden und erst Monate später wieder in einem digitalen Format aufgenommen wurden. Migrant*innen und Geflüchtete waren von diesen Veränderungen stärker betroffen als andere Gruppen. Daher wollen wir mit unserem Projekt Migrant*innen und Geflüchtete unterstützen, auf dem europäischen Arbeitsmarkt erfolgreich zu sein. Auch sollen Lehrkräfte darin bestärkt werden, digitale Methoden nutzen zu können und sich in digitalen Lehrformaten zurechtzufinden und wohlzufühlen. „SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED“ richtet sich an Menschen mit Migrationsgeschichte, Geflüchtete und Lehrkräfte und es sollen bereits bestehende Materialien in digitale Aufbereitungen und Formate übertragen werden.

Aktueller Stand: Nach diversen digitalen Meetings erfolgte im Mai 2023 das erste Transnationale Projekttreffen im Rahmen des Projekts in Lund, Schweden. Das Projektkonsortium arbeitete, wie auch bereits in den zwei Vorgängerprojekten, vertrauensvoll zusammen und wir freuen uns auf die Umsetzung des geplanten Podcasts. Ein weiteres Treffen erfolgte am 28.9.23. in Kiel, Deutschland. Die Aufnahmen der Podcasts wurden mittlerweile abgeschlossen und wir finalisieren diese. Parallel fand am 15.-16.01.2024 ein digitales Trainingsevent mit Berufsschullehrkräften aus den jeweiligen Partnerländern statt. Ein toller und bereichernder Austausch zum Projektthema und zu den Herausforderungen in der Lehre inspirierte Partner sowie Teilnehmende. Am 23.04.2024 wird das Konsortium dann für ein Abschlusstreffen zur Vorstellung des Projekts auf internationaler Ebene in Brüssel, Belgien, zu Gast sein und wir freuen uns sehr! Das Projekt wird offiziell am 29.04.2024 enden.

The Project (English)

Building up on the Erasmus+ project "SIMPLY INCLUDED - Social inclusion of migrants in vocational education and training", KulturLife coordinates the project "SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED".
The Corona pandemic has significantly complicated the integration of migrants and refugees into the labor market by interrupting language and training courses and only resuming them in a digital format months later. Migrants and refugees were more affected by these changes than other groups. Therefore, with our project we want to support migrants and refugees to be successful on the European labor market. We also want to empower teachers to be able to use digital methods and to feel comfortable and at ease in digital teaching formats. "SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED" is aimed at people with a migration history, refugees and teachers, and existing materials are to be transferred into digital formats.

Current status: After various digital meetings, the first transnational project meeting took place in May 2023 as part of the project in Lund, Sweden. As in the two previous projects, the project consortium worked together in a spirit of trust and we are looking forward to the implementation of the planned podcast. A further meeting took place on 28th September 2023 in Kiel, Germany. The recordings of the podcasts have now been completed and we are finalizing them. At the same time, a digital training event with vocational school teachers from the respective partner countries took place on 15th-16th January, 2024. A great and enriching exchange on the project topic and the challenges in teaching inspired partners and participants alike. On 23rd April 2024, the consortium will then be hosted in Brussels, Belgium, for a final meeting to present the project at international level and we are very excited! The project will officially end on 29th April 2024.

Output 1: Podcast: Simply listen to me

In der Podcastreihe des Erasmus+ geförderten Projekts „SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED“ teilen junge Migrant*innen und Geflüchtete aus der Berufsbildung ihre persönlichen Geschichten und insbesondere ihre Erfahrungen und die Herausforderungen, denen sie in der Zeit der Corona-Pandemie begegnet sind. Zu den persönlichen Geschichten inspirieren und motivieren die Teilnehmenden die Zuhörer*innen durch das Darstellen ihrer individuellen Strategien zur Motivation in schwierigen Zeiten, im Selbstmanagement oder im Umgang mit Stress und unterstützen damit nicht nur das peer-to-peer learning der Zielgruppe.

(ENG) In the podcast series of the Erasmus+-funded project "SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED", young migrants and refugees from vocational education and training share their personal stories and, in particular, their experiences and the challenges they have faced during the coronavirus pandemic. In addition to the personal stories, the participants inspire and motivate the audience by presenting their individual strategies for motivation in difficult times, in self-management or in dealing with stress, thus supporting not only the peer-to-peer learning of the target group.

Output 2: Handbuch/Manual - SIMPLY digitally PREPARED

Digitales Handbuch für Berufsschullehrkräfte / Digital manual for vocational school teachers

Das Konsortium des Erasmus+ geförderten Projekts "SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED" möchte Lehrkräfte dabei unterstützen, Unterricht im digitalen Raum zu halten und digitale Methoden und Formate zu präsentieren. Das hierfür entwickelte Handbuch, “SIMPLY digitally PREPARED - digitales Handbuch für Berufsschullehrkräfte” ist in englischer Sprache sowie auf Deutsch, Schwedisch, Türkisch, Spanisch und Slowenisch verfügbar und behandelt in verschiedenen praxisorientierten Ansätzen Themen wie digitale Kompetenzen, Partizipation im E-Learning, Methodentransfer von analog zu digital und Umgang mit Cybermobbing.

(ENG) The consortium of the Erasmus+ funded project "SIMPLY digitally INCLUDED" would like to support teachers in holding lessons in the digital space and in presenting digital methods and formats. The handbook developed for this purpose, “SIMPLY digitally PREPARED - digital manual for vocational school teachers” is available in English as well as in German, Swedish, Turkish, Spanish and Slovenian and uses various practice-oriented approaches to cover topics such as digital skills, participation in e-learning, method transfer analogue to digital and dealing with cyberbullying.
