All for One

The project “All for One”will develop a board game that will facilitate young people’s entrepreneurial ideas and foster critical thinking. The board game will be based on the values of social circus, artistic non-formal methods and gamification.

The Project (English)

Social, physical and artistic activities create space to communicate and strengthen social relationships. Non-formal methods, such as circus, dance and theatre, help build a network to develop common ideas in a trusting setting. One of our focuses is the development of a board game that discovers and enhances the physical, artistic, and social skills of children and youth, and provides various platforms for children to express themselves and develop their own entrepreneurial ideas. The transformative power of the arts combined with the problem-based learning approach of a board game will enhance both emotional and social development, improving social inclusion.

Current status: After the first online meetings and Corona relaxations, our kick-off meeting could take place in spring 2022. The project partners had the opportunity to get to know each other personally in Turkey, to define common goals and to plan the content of a training course in Australia in November. During the training week in Melbourne, all project partners had the opportunity to present their organization's methods to the other participants. The methods ranged from storytelling to creative theater to social circus methods, always with a focus on social inclusion. Afterwards, they started to integrate all these methods into a board game for children and young people. After our meeting in May at Leeds-Beckett University in England, the game to promote social inclusion of young people is now almost ready! We are now working on the design of the game so that it can finally be tested at our next meeting in South Africa, together with young people from different countries.
