Unsere Projekte – Für interkulturellen Austausch und soziale Integration
KulturLife ist eine gemeinnützige Austauschorganisation mit Schwerpunkt auf interkultureller Bildung und Verständigung. Im Mittelpunkt unserer internationalen Projektarbeit stehen die Lernchancen durch direkte Begegnung – insbesondere zwischen Menschen mit unterschiedlichen kulturellen Hintergründen.
Unterstützt werden unsere Projekte von zahlreichen Institutionen – darunter die Europäische Union, das Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ) sowie das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF). Auch ehrenamtliche Unterstützer*innen, private Spender*innen und Partnerorganisationen leisten einen wichtigen Beitrag zu ihrer erfolgreichen Umsetzung.
Was wir bewegen
In den vergangenen Jahren hat KulturLife gemeinsam mit zahlreichen europäischen Partnern, darunter auch langjährige Kooperationen, erfolgreich Projekte im Bereich der sozialen Integration von Minderheiten – insbesondere Geflüchtete und Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund – erfolgreich umgesetzt. Zusätzlich wurden digitale Tools entwickelt, die Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen wie Lernschwierigkeiten, Leseschwäche oder fehlenden Sprachkenntnissen gezielt unterstützen. Durch europaweite Mobilitätsprojekte konnte zudem die persönliche, soziale und berufliche Entwicklung junger Menschen nachhaltig gefördert werden.
Our Projects – Promoting Intercultural Exchange and Social Integration
KulturLife is a non-profit exchange organisation with a focus on intercultural education and mutual understanding. At the core of our international project work are the learning opportunities that arise through direct encounters – particularly between people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Our projects are supported by several institutions, including the European Union, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Volunteers, private donors, and partner organisations also play a vital role in ensuring their successful implementation.
What We Achieve
Over the years, KulturLife has successfully implemented projects together with a wide range of European partners, most of them long-standing partners, in the field of social integration for minorities-including refugees and people with migrant backgrounds. In addition, digital tools have been developed to specifically support people with disabilities such as learning difficulties, reading impairments, or limited language skills. Furthermore, Europe-wide mobility projects have sustainably promoted the personal, social, and professional development of young people.
Moritz ist seit Oktober 2023 Teil unseres Erasmus+ Teams. Er entwickelt und realisiert internationale Projekte, die sich mit strukturellen Fragen der Gesellschaft und Zivilgesellschaft befassen, im Bereich der UN-Nachhaltigkeitsziele und der Kompetenzen für demokratische Kultur, der Bildungschancen sowie Inklusion und Integration. Die Projektformate und Erfahrungen reichen von Begegnungsprojekten hin zu Innovationspartnerschaften und europäischer Partnerschaftsarbeit. Moritz ist seit 2011 in der internationalen Zivilgesellschaft aktiv und hat Abschlüsse in Staatswissenschaften und Public Policy.
Arbeitsschwerpunkte
(ENG) Moritz joined the Erasmus+ team in October 2023. He develops and implements international projects that target structural issues of civil society and society in general, in the areas of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Competences for Democratic Culture, educational opportunities, inclusion and integration. The project formats and experiences range from encounter projects to innovation partnerships and European partnership work. Moritz has been involved in international civil society since 2011 and and holds academic degrees in Governmental Studies and Public Policy.

Eliana Vasileiou ist seit September 2023 Teil des Erasmus+ Teams von KulturLife und arbeitet seit 2018 als Jugendarbeiterin, Projektmanagerin und Entwicklerin europäischer Projekte. Sie ist auf Projektentwicklung und -management im Rahmen von Erasmus+, ESC und EEA Grants spezialisiert.
Eliana hat lokale und internationale Projekte geleitet und Outputs zu Themen wie interkulturelle Kommunikation, Medienkompetenz, Menschenrechte und den Zielen für nachhaltige Entwicklung (SDGs) erstellt. Außerhalb von KulturLife ist sie Mitglied der Beratungsgruppe der griechischen NGO „Entrepreneurship and Social Economy Group“. Sie hat einen Hintergrund in Molekularbiologie und einen M.Sc. in Kognitiver Neurowissenschaft.

The project connects AI experts with newcomers, promotes knowledge exchange, and raises awareness for responsible AI use – especially following the new EU AI Act. Together, we shape an ethical and reflective digital future.
CJ SUPERHEROES ist ein Projekt zur Qualifizierung von NGOs und Lehrkräften in der Erwachsenenbildung. Es befähigt Bürger*innen, sich im Zeitalter künstlicher Intelligenz sicher in neuen Medien zu bewegen und aktiv am öffentlichen Diskurs teilzunehmen.
CJ SUPERHEROES is a project to empower and train NGOs and adult educators to engage citizens in effective citizen journalism. The aim is to equip them with the knowledge and skills to navigate the opportunities and pitfalls of new media in the age of artificial intelligence, and to contribute consciously and competently to public discourse through citizen journalism.
Das Projekt CO-A-CH-IN-G konzentriert sich darauf, das Risiko der Ausschließung junger Menschen aus langfristigen Freiwilligenprogrammen aufgrund der unzureichenden Berücksichtigung ihrer spezifischen Bedürfnisse durch die Umsetzung innovativer Krisenmanagementmethoden zu verringern. Durch die Kombination von Coaching mit umfassender Unterstützung werden Jugendarbeiter*innen und Interessierte mit Schlüsselkompetenzen ausgestattet, die ihnen helfen, wirtschaftliche, soziale und psychologische Barrieren zu überwinden und eine europäische Identität aufzubauen.
The CO-A-CH-IN-G project focuses on reducing the risk of young people being excluded from long-term volunteer programs due to insufficient consideration of their specific needs by implementing innovative crisis management methods. By combining coaching with comprehensive support, youth workers and interested parties are equipped with key skills that help them overcome economic, social and psychological barriers and build a European identity.
TDas Projekt Co-CIVIC hat als Ziel die Stärkung des bürgerschaftlichen Engagements von Schüler*innen in der Berufsbildung. Durch projektbasiertes Lernen sollen Auszubildende durch praktisches und aktives Mitarbeiten ein besseres Verständnis für die praktischen Seiten und die gesellschaftliche Wirkung von sozialem Engagement erhalten.
The Co-CIVIC project aims to strengthen the civic engagement of students in vocational education. Through project-based learning, trainees should gain a better understanding of the practical aspects and social impact of social engagement through practical and active participation.
Das Ziel des Erasmus+ geförderten Projekts „EqPay4all“ im Bereich Jugend ist die Schärfung des Bewusstseins für geschlechtsspezifische Lohngefälle auf dem Arbeitsmarkt. Hierfür werden Stereotypen beleuchtet, welche die Missstände begünstigen, und ungerechte Strukturen reproduzieren. Empowerment von Frauen soll gestärkt werden, damit diese ihr Potenzial erkennen und ihre Stimme im beruflichen Kontext nutzen.
The aim of the Erasmus+ funded project "EqPay4all" in the field of youth is to raise awareness of gender pay gaps in the labour market. For this purpose, stereotypes are illuminated, which promote the grievances and reproduce unjust structures. Empowerment of women is to be strengthened so that they recognize their potential and use their voice in the professional context.
Das Projekt METAPHOR, finanziert durch das Erasmus+ Programm im Rahmen der Leitaktion 3 und der Aktion „Europäische Jugend vereint“, verfolgt das Ziel, das Selbstbewusstsein und das Selbstwertgefühl junger Menschen zu stärken und sie dazu anzuregen, aktiv an Veränderungen in ihren Gemeinschaften mitzuwirken.
The METAPHOR project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme under Key Action 3 and the "European Youth United" action, aims to boost young people's self-confidence and self-esteem and encourage them to play an active role in bringing about change in their communities.
POP-Ed hat zum Ziel, Innovation in der Jugendarbeit zu fördern, indem es GCE-Prinzipien mit Instrumenten der Popkultur verbindet, Ausbildungskapazitäten für Jugendarbeiter*innen aufbaut und junge Menschen als Mitgestalter*innen stärkt. Es soll das Bewusstsein für globale Interdependenzen schärfen und kritisches Denken, demokratisches Engagement und interkulturelles Verständnis unter jungen Menschen fördern. Es soll inklusive, partizipative Prozesse in der Jugendarbeit fördern und die transnationale Zusammenarbeit von Organisationen stärken und Jugendliche mit Entscheidungsträger*innen in Kontakt bringen.
POP-Ed aims to promote innovation in youth work by combining GCE principles with pop culture tools, building training capacities for youth workers, and empowering young people as co-creators. It aims to raise awareness of global interdependencies and to promote critical thinking, democratic engagement, and intercultural understanding among young people. The projejct promotes inclusive, participatory processes in youth work and strengthens transnational cooperation between organizations, hence bringing young people into contact with decision-makers.

Im Rahmen des Projekts "All for One" wird ein Brettspiel entwickelt, das die unternehmerischen Ideen junger Menschen fördert und das kritische Denken anregt. Das Brettspiel wird auf den Werten des sozialen Zirkus, künstlerischen nicht-formalen Methoden und Gamification basieren.
The project “All for One”will develop a board game that will facilitate young people’s entrepreneurial ideas and foster critical thinking. The board game will be based on the values of social circus, artistic non-formal methods and gamification.
Das Erasmus+ Projekt Art Urban Regen "Stadterneuerung mit Hilfe von Künstler-Entrepreneurship" bietet Schulungen zu den Themen Stadterneuerung, künstlerische und kreative Fähigkeiten und künstlerischem Unternehmertum an. Damit werden kreative und unternehmerische Leute gefördert und weitergebildet.
The Erasmus+ project Art Urban Regen "Urban regeneration with the help of artist entrepreneurship" offers training in the following areas urban regeneration, artistic and creative skills and artistic entrepreneurship. This promotes and trains creative and entrepreneurial people.
KulturLife ist kooperierender Partner im Projekt Balkan Kaleidoscope - Training for teachers on multiperspectivity in History teaching. Ziel des EU-Projektes ist die Sensibilisierung von geschichtlichen Erfahrungen aus den vergangenen Jahren, bei der die Rolle der EU in der Förderung von Frieden aufmerksam gemacht werden soll.
KulturLife is a partner organization in the Europe for Citzens’ project “Balkan Kaleidoscope”. The project aims to raise awareness of remembrance of experiences from the recent past underlining the role and importance of the EU to promoting peace. It is of particular importance in the context of emerging nationalistic ideas, growing populism and support to right-wing parties and leaders.

Dazu werden Konzepte und Instrumente für Sozialarbeiter*innen, Berater*innen und Freiwillige entwickelt, um den Empowermentprozess voranzutreiben und Frauen zu befähigen, an ihrem Integrationsprozess mitzuwirken.
The project EMIRE (Empowerment of migrant and refugee women) aims to support women with a migration/refugee background in their integration into the labor market and to promote social inclusion. To this end, concepts and instruments are developed for social workers, counsellors and volunteers to advance the empowerment process and enable women to participate in their integration process.
Unter Koordinierung des Liceul Tehnologic Petricani (Rumänien) arbeitet KulturLife mit weiteren fünf Partnern an dem Erasmus+ Projekts „emploVET“ („Employability and Workplace Skills for VET Students“) in der Berufsbildung mit Projektstart am 01.10.2015. Ziel des Projekts ist die Entwicklung innovativer Lernressourcen, um Berufsschüler/innen mit den nötigen Fähigkeiten und Fertigkeiten für einen erfolgreichen Einstieg in das Arbeitsleben auszustatten.

Ziel des Projekts ist es, der Diskriminierung junger Menschen in Jugendorganisationen vorzubeugen. Zusammen mit Jugendlichen werden hierfür diskriminierungsfreie Einstellungen und Verhaltensweisen entwickelt und umgesetzt.

Das Projekt Health Without Borders ("Gesundheit ohne Grenzen") zielt darauf ab, die Gesundheitskompetenz junger Geflüchteten und Migrant*innen und marginalisierter Jugendlicher in einer inklusiven Lernperspektive zu verbessern und gleichzeitig eine Reihe sozialpädagogischer innovativer Ansätze für Jugendbetreuer*innen an vorderster Front zu fördern, um jungen Gefüchteten und Migrant*innen für die Bedeutung der Gesundheitskompetenz in ihrem täglichen Leben zu sensibilisieren.
The project Health Without Borders aims to improve the health literacy of young refugees and migrants and marginalised young people in an inclusive learning perspective, while promoting a range of socio-pedagogical innovative approaches for youth workers at the forefront of raising awareness among young refugees and migrants of the importance of health literacy in their daily lives.
"IDE 3.0 - EMPOWER IDENTITIES: explore the potential of creative learning" ist ein durch Erasmus+ gefördertes Projekt im Bereich der Jugend. Das Ziel des Projekts ist es, darstellende und visuelle Künste, die kreatives Lernen fördern, in ganz Europa zu identifizieren und auszutauschen. Im Rahmen des Projektes wird ein kostenloses Toolkit erstellt mit einer Sammlung entsprechender pädagogischer Werkzeuge und Materialien.
"IDE 3.0 - EMPOWER IDENTITIES: explore the potential of creative learning" is an Erasmus+ funded project in the field of youth. The aim of the project is to identify and share performing and visual arts that promote creative learning across Europe. The project will produce a free toolkit with a collection of relevant educational tools and materials.
Das Erasmus+ Projekt IMPROVe wendet sich insbesondere an Mitarbeiter von Jugendorganisationen und Menschen, die täglich in die Arbeit mit Jugendlichen involviert sind. Durch die wichtige Stellung und Vorbildfunktion vieler Jugendlicher nehmen Jugendarbeiter eine besondere Rolle in der Erkennung und Prävention von Radikalisierungsprozessen ein und sollen in diesem Projekt gezielt für ihre Rolle geschult werden und relevante Methoden erarbeiten.
The Erasmus+ project IMPROVe addresses youth workers in and around Europe to encourage critical thinking, intercultural and interreligious competences for creating constructive work against intolerance, hate and violent extremism. Working with youth workers of different countries, IMPROVe wants to increase the understanding of youth leaders regarding the issue of violent radicalization of young people and the role they can play in preventing it.
InterAct ist ein Projekt zur Förderung und Validierung der Entwicklung von Interkulturellen Handlungskompetenzen (IAK) für Teilnehmende internationaler Jugendprojekte. Es unterstützt internationale Projekte während ihrer gesamten Laufzeit - vom anfänglichen Projektdesign über innovative Webtools zum Üben und Vertiefen der Lernerfahrung bis hin zur digitalen Gruppenarbeit - um das Lernen in den Alltag zu integrieren.
InterAct is a project to promote and validate the development of Intercultural Action Competences (IAC) for participants in international youth projects. It supports the entire duration of international projects - from project design to innovative web tools for practicing and deepening the learning experience, as well as digital group work - to integrate learning into everyday life.

Ziel des Tools ist es, digitale Bewerbungsprozesse verständlich zu machen und mehr Menschen einen transparenten Zugang zu einem inklusiven Arbeitsmarkt zu gewährleisten.
With our Project we intend to foster the participation and integration of people with learning difficulties, reading weaknesses and of non-native speakers in the labor market. KulturLife coordinates the Erasmus+ project SIMPLE („Social Inclusion of Migrants through Peer Learning Experience”) in the field of vocational education and training. SIMPLE aims to exchange good practices about peer learning methods which foster social inclusion among migrants and refugees in vocational education and training structures.
Das Projekt SIMPLY INCLUDED fördert das Bewusstsein für die Bedeutung von sozialer Inklusion von Migrant*innen in der Berufsbildung und in Unternehmen. Das Projekt soll den positiven Umgang mit Vielfalt in beruflichen Strukturen stärken.

TeDiCom is a European project dealing with the transfer of digital competences. The aim of the project is to achieve a higher level of digital literacy among European citizens so that fake news campaigns, hate speech on the Internet and automated bot campaigns can be detected early and have no influence on the formation of opinion in European society.

Im Fokus vom Projekt TREND steht die Förderung unternehmerischer Kompetenzen bei Geflüchteten, um die berufliche Perspektive einer selbstständigen Erwerbstätigkeit näher zu bringen.
KulturLife is a partner organisation in the Erasmus+ project „TREND“(„Training Refugees in Entrepreneurial skills using digital devices“) in the field of adult education. The project TREND aims to foster refugees’ entrepreneurial competences in order to open the perspective of self-employment.
Das Projekt WELCOMERS ist ein Mobilitätsprojekt von Jugendarbeitern/-innen, die die kulturelle Bereicherung der europäischen Staatsbürgerschaft von Jugendlichen fördern und Stereotypen und soziale Vorurteile, die in Bezug auf die Migranten- und Flüchtlingsbevölkerung bestehen, entgegenwirken sollen. Ziel des Projekts war es, durch ein Training, den Austausch und den interkulturellen Dialog der Teilnehmer/-innen die Förderung der aktiven Teilnahme der Jugend zu bewirken sowie die Entwicklung von positiven Botschaften und Kampagnen, die sich an die lokale öffentliche Verwaltung und Jugendliche richtete und zu einer positiveren und toleranteren Einstellungen gegenüber Flüchtigen führten. Themen der Kampagnen waren der Gleichheit, Solidarität und Gemeinschaft.
KulturLife unterstützt das Projekt der weltwärts-Begegnung mit deutschen und botswanischen Jugendlichen. Im Fokus steht neben dem interkulturellen Austausch, das Thema „Nachhaltige Städte“.
Im Rahmen der Jugendbegegnung YOUCare -Youth Cares for Sustainable Development- sollen sich die jugendlichen Teilnehmenden mit dem 14ten Nachhaltigkeitsziel „Leben unter Wasser“ der Agenda 2030 kritisch und persönlich auseinander setzen.
Within our youth exchange YOUCare -Youth Cares for Sustainable Development, young participants are to critically and personally engage with the 14th sustainability goal of the 2030 Agenda, "Life under Water".
